The Kingfish is a 44’ Dive Boat with a double chime bottom custom designed and built by Dave Sintes. Sintes, along with Capt. Troy Wetzel created this dive boat to be the best fishing platform for overnight charters, as well as day trips going out to the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.
This boat is built in old school fashion for the hard core fisherman. It is strong like a battleship running on two 450 C Series Cummings engines with a brand new 5 kW Kubota generator and can be lived on. It has 7” spray rails made out of Kevlar and the hull is made of seaflex.
The Kingfish cabin cruiser has the luxuries of a yacht including: five star comfort of a private bath, shower, 4 queen size bunks, air condition, state of the art electronics and stereo system, microwave, bbq grill, and an 80 gallon fresh water tank. An easy open latch door accesses a swim platform at the stern. It has a 16’x 28’ covered fishing area with 1st class rods, reels and all the top professional gear for tuna fishing, sword-fishing, and rig fishing. Your catch will be loaded and stored in a 5,000 lbs. ice box and filleted at the end of the day.
